P paul New Member Jul 12, 2005 #1 just finished replacing rear spring bushes on my 109,whilst there i want to clean up the springs with a wire brush and give them a bit of protection,is there a grease i should be using or is anything that comes to hand ok?

S Stevethe scrute New Member Jul 18, 2005 #2 Get a big aerosol tin of Motorcycle drive chain wax, and spray them with that. Brush it in before it sets.
