Hi. Ive just had my RR 4.0 SE back from the garage where its had 2 new O2 sensors fitted and a few other bits and bobs.
the windows have been reset after the baty was disconnected but its now showing an SRS air bag fault. This fault did not show when it had its diagnostics check.
Please if any one has any idea's let me know

The battery was probably disconnected too soon after the engine was stopped.Try disconnecting the battery after about five minutes then reconnect-you will have to teach the windows etc and the radio code.If that does not work the fault light will have to be reset by either a LR main dealer or someone with Rovacom or Autologic diagnostic equipment. There is probably no fault with the SRS. Where are you located? I may be able to put you in touch with a Rovacom owner who will reset the fault at a fraction of the cost of your main dealer.

Hi there,

Drop a mail to Andy Cunningham at www.cunningham.me.co.uk or try calling him on 01252 875179.He is based in Sandhurst. He is a very helpful guy and is the Rovacomlite distributor and has the gear
A Main Dealer will charge you about £70 (Min. 1hr. labour) for a 10 minute job.

hi yes normally disconecting battery for half an hour and touch the posotive and negativive terminals toegether will clear your faults strange but true, dont leave your keys in the car and make sure you power down the sat nav,you might laugh but i know someone who left the keys in the ignition and reconnected the battery and the car super locked itself oh pants, and 1 small window later!
