Hello.

I'm asking cos if you dont ask you dont get, its worth a try!

Im hopefully gonna be adding new suspension (Terrafirma +2" shocks/springs) and wheels to my 90 in the next month or two (or as long as it takes me to sell my campervan and get the money!). I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me do this? The trouble is I dont have a garage or the necessery tools to do the job, and the only experience I have of suspension work is watching it on youtube (just bought a dvd about it too  )!!! Ofcourse I would throw a case of beer, whiskey or some notes your way for the help. Anyway, its a long shot but like I said if you dont ask you dont get! Another reason for not putting it to a garage is cos I want to learn this stuff for myself as well

Cheers very much, Ash

your a bit far from me or i would help

but its not hard to do it just comon sence and you don't need meany tools

Aye I can see from what Ive watched thats its not to difficult, but my tools are limited... one jack and a small socket set with most of the bits missing! I had access to a small workshop a couple of years back up north, but sadly thats gone now.

Meaning caster/break lines etc... Im planning on that, but the wallet will have to pause for a while after the suspension and wheels. In an ideal world it would all happen at once.

you need to change the brake hoses for longer ones when you fit a lift kit

but can i ask why you fell the need for a lift ?

Yeah I was going to do the brake hoses (but I wouldnt ask for help with that).

Yeah you can ask.....Im getting some 285 75 16s for the landy, Im hoping to start doing some proper offroading/pay and play days/join a club, and I think it looks good (yeah thats the crap bit of the answer I know!). I know the 90 is a very capable machine as stock (had it for 3 years now, used in my forestry work and for fun), and Im aware of the problems that can come with a lift (Ive read up on it here on landyzone and elsewhere), but its something Ive wanted to do for a while.

Might bd able to offer some garage space for doing the job, pm me the details including your location and how long you need the space for and when and we will be able to sort something out. Bit busy for helping with the work.

im local but currently in turkmenistan for the foreseeable future :(

try buchan offroad club bordc.co.uk and see if any of the guys on there can help.
