only way to maximise your ground plane is to drill t' roof.
the bracket in question to fit aerial to spare wheel mount was for freelanders, as it curved around the back of the tyre and cleared the high level brake light bracket. might fit another though, depending on the spare wheel mounting arrangement. the guy selling them puts one on ebay every couple of weeks or so.
use a mag mount for me cb, then I can remove all trace when I'm in town so the scallies don't get too inquisitive.
