HI .

My Disco has just been built and we have not fitted anti roll bars for articulation purposes and was wondering if it will pass it's MOT without them . It has dislocation springs and pro shocks etc so using the ARBs would ruin it . Any help would be great . Thank you

Technically if it has the mounts (ie on the axle), then there is part of the MoT that would allow them to fail it as missing. However I believe some LR's left the factory with the ARB mounts and no ARB, so you could always question it.

And chances are, unless you have a very picky tester, they won't bother anyhow.

For the record, D1's where sold without ARB's.

Tester is a very good fair friend but won't do me to many favours lol . Thank you for your kind advice it's much appreciated .

My Disco failed the MOT when I left the rear ARB off after giving it a two inch lift.
So I refitted it using 2 x 1 inch tow bar spacers and it passed.
The garage copied and highlighted the bit of the MOT manual which states that you shouldn't remove parts of the suspension as originally fitted.
But my brother- in- laws disco passed without the ARB at a different garage.
