Hi just a quickie. Had my defender td5 for 5 years and have just noticed I have no anti roll bars. Should it or do some not have them or would there be a reason. Thanks for any help

Some people take them off to get better articulation.

Thanks. Is it safe without them. Not that I've had any problem with it.

They often aren't fitted from new. My 1999 TD5 110 csw hasn't got them.

My '95 300Tdi hasn't even got the brackets for one on the chassis!

My 98 had them but I took them off as the bushes were shot and they rattled over every bump. I've never got round to putting them back. Cant say I've noticed any difference with or with out them over the last 20k miles.
