Oh well, At least I learned that washing machine bolts are actually called 'flange bolts' and are to be feared unless you attack them like an X-Factor finalist....

I want to get it all sorted tomorrow and glide along in my HSE in silence.
 
Job Done! I got my TD4 up on the ramp today and managed to get my FRH seized ARB bolt out. A little heat and a small pipe wrench around the flange of the flangebold did the trick.

New LR bushes (without Jubilee clamps) went on along with Stainless bolts and copper grease.

Took it for a test drive and the knocking is GONE:D

I passed your good tips about the clamps to the Mechanic. He has another TD4 in next week for a clunk up front and was well pleased with your good advice thanks.
