I was asking because i heard someone mention the other day that certain antifreezes can damage the engine or some-such, and that some are better than others.
A mechanically minded friend of mine told me last night that it shoud be ethylene glycol based - also gave me a few percentage mix-rates - so i think that should be just enough info to occupy and hour on Saturday morning!!
I think they all use Ethylene Glycol as the Non-freezing part, it's the other additives that do the damage. The old type rubber hoses are eaten by the new orange stuff. I think the change over time for engines to the new Orange stuff is about Td5 time, anything before that should use the Green stuff.
