As long as they support the floor no worries! How did you attach your main floor panel to the side panels? I know this has been done to death and sorry for hijacking your thread OP!

Main floor is riveted round onto side panels and bonded with sealer

Prob going to break or maybe sell complete. I bought another disco for my Wales trip back in Feb and can't see myself ever repairing this now.

Why not turn it in to a pickup etc would be easier to get access to weld it and use flat sheet steel save some money at the same time. And if you have got an another disco there is no time pressure to get it done.
