Another weekend, another challenge, more questions..... Decided to remove the wings to give me better access to engine. Great idea. Also gave me access to replace steering box cover and other rusty bits but..........
How do you get into the back of the wing to remove these bolts? I'm worried that I will be tempted to bend the wing and mis shape the metal. Any bright ideas? Also are the bolts officially a size because 1/4 inch and 13mm don't quite fit???

With a socket and a long extension bar. was how we did mine (I think we made an extension bar out of a few different ones joined together) Cant remember the size off hand but they have corroded to an inbetween size on yours. Try 7/16ths if 13mm (1/2") is too big and 1/4" too small.

It is possible to remove them without bending the wing, it requires a lot of patients variousness length extensions for your ratchet and removing some skin from your knuckles

Can't remember what size they are off the top of my head but at a guess 1/2''

You drop the inner wing, use a 1/4" ratchet with a lot of extensions and its fine

You can also remove the air intake which meals you can get a ratchet through it
