must be the nice weather bringing us all out!!
I am, as the name suggests, a bird with a landy:eek:, a 1977 series III SWB petrol who goes by the name of Pig:D, cos she grunts like one and drives like one;).
only had her a few weeks but have to say it's the best fun i've had in a car for years!! she gets used everyday cos i keep horses on a farm and after killing the last car bumping up and down the dirt track we thought we'd get a real vehicle:D
love her already but i have a feeling we're going to be having a close relationship with her inner workings in the not too distant future as OH says theres a leak on a rear hub

:welcome2:to Landyzone landybird.

Sounds like you're enjoying the thought of getting down and dirty with yer landy.;):D:D:D

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Rear hub seal is fairly easy. Make sure that the oil hasn't got onto the brakes and check that the breather on the rear axle is clear.

My newly purchased Landy, also a SWB Series III but a diesel will stay in Cheshire on or around parent's farm but I will endeavour to look out for you two Wilstshire-ites when I'm doing my rounds (I was in Trowbridge yesterday looking for spare parts at Joyce's garage).
