Hi all, just a quick hello having found the Forum. Just purchsaed a series 2 Disco. Its a W plate V8 petrol eater, ex Met police vehicle but in spot on condition with only 57K and full service history. Trouble is I went out to buy a van and came back with this so the missus isnt that pleased

Anyway I will pop back later as I already have a few questions, hopefully speak to some of you then.

howdo, and congrats on ya purchase. 57k for an ex plod seems abit low, perhaps they off loaded it cos Mr browns fuel account was gettin out of hand!!

She'll get used to it. My wife wasnt that impressed with my Disco when I first got it and even dared to call it a 'truck' once or twice but she really likes it now.

Lets hope she gets used to it, it will just be a second vehicle for me so will do very little milegage apart from when we go back to the Canaries in November when I am thinking of driving over (could be to expensive in fuel though!!! )

Vehicle seems great, it really is in excellent condition the back seats even had landrover covers on them and are as new. I bought it direct from the Met police with full service print out. only thing I have to do is put a radio in and check why the self leveling suspension light is on. if anyone has any idea please let me know
