When you reply to a thread scroll down to 'additional options' box & click on 'manage attachments' then upload your photos from your pc (max size for JPEG is 244k. ) the photo's will then appear as attachments at the bottom of your thread. like this

( you can also upload photos to your own section in the 'Gallery' and then create a link to it in a thread.)
