Perhaps long overdue, as I have had a Series 2 for a very long time. I am currently restoring it remotely. It is in a lock-up garage 80 miles from my home! Which brings me to my point. I need a new battery for it, and on the basis that the bigger the better, I wonder if anyone can tell me what the maximum length of battery is that will fit into the battery tray on my Landy? Current battery is 270mm in length, but I have found a good battery, at 305mm length (width and height OK). Will it fit? I quite overlooked nmeasuring the tray last time I was at the garage.Thanks!
