Hi guys
I have a slight leak around the front sunroof and tackling that on Thursday. I have a list of areas to check but if anyone has repaired the seal recently n knows of anything worth checking please let me kno.
Also the passenger side foot wells are wet. I have had a quick look n planning on stripping out the carpet on Thursday. Again any info on the usual suspect areas would be awesome.
She tends to use a little coolant over a month. After looking through the Haynes I can't work out if the matrix would leak in to the passenger footwell. Again any help appreciated.
Cheers again fellas

I did both of my sunroofs on sunday, is it leaking between glass and frame or frame and roof?

My ones were leaking at both places. I took the headlning out, removed the glass then the frame. The original frame seal is a joke, strip that off and load a good bead of sikaflex etc round the edge. Clean the roof edges then remount and replace the fixings.

The glass seal was split at two corners, I checked the price and was told £40 or so, so I just replaced the glass and sealed up fully with sikaflex again. The rear one did not work anyway and I never use them as it has aircon.

I'm waiting for it to rain now before replacing the insides.

I also had some major leaks at the rear to deal with. I ran out of time to check the footwells so I'll be divin in there this weekend.

I believe if its the heater leaking you can smell the coolant.

Hi I had a major sunroof leak . I fixed it with a bead of silicone sealant between the sunroof frame and the metal roof.
Try that first .

This may also be the cause of the wet carpets.

i have also sealed my sunroofs at the weekend took both out cleaned and re sealed i now have a leak in the rear on both sides just above the back windows only leaks if i fill the gutter up with water any ideas on how to seal this

Right, an afternoon of fun was had today. Head lining out both sun roofs out. Glass seal was covered in mud n had come out of it's groove in the frame. Washed n cleared this out washed the seal was in good condition so sealed it in with aircraft window sealant. Frame seal and drains all seemed fine. Lots of condensation on the roof so wiped it all down. Found the windscreen was cracked badly on the passenger lower corner enough to let water through. This was hidden behind the tax disc and outer a pillar trim. Autoglass coming in the morning. No other leaks were found so hopefully the cracked windscreen is the culprit. One further question how the f*#k do you get the outer a pillar trim back on?
Cheers for the pointers gents.
