Hi,

Before saying anything i have searched and cannot find what im after... I have a Defender 90 and i'm commuting a bit too much for my liking so Iv decided to book a camp site between my shifts. However with the recent weather Im looking into a diesel heater that I can run whilst the engine is off to keep the bite off of things.

Iv seen a few threads about diesel heaters but no one can point one out and google can find anything other than huge space heaters.

Any one got one? And where can i find one?

Cheers!!

Eberspachers are generally used on canal boats, there are other makes available but I think thats the main one.

As an aside to that, the BT vans at work (Transit cab with a fibreglass rear) come with Eberspacher heaters in them, so they must be pretty decent.

12v - will probably take 30-40 amps !

Ouch, was thinking that if it was 240 you could hook it up to your mains on a timer so the matrix would be warm before you got in... perhaps some kind of external pump to circulate the coolant as well?

ave already got a Kenlowe pre heater - and a diesel heater - just thought this might be a better alternative to those cheap nasty plug in ones
