Done a search but cant find anything like this one!!
Driving as normal on the standard setting and without warning the car raises itself to wading height.
It will stay there until i press the button to bring it back to normal level.
Sometimes does it once or twice in a day , sometimes not at all.
It seems to be worse when i have a full load (4 up + luggage).
If it makes any odds when its been standing for a few days when i put the car up to normal ride height it will raise from the rear first and then go down nose first when i set it for the short-arse in the passenger seat.
Any ideas apart from a match and petrol?

Carl,
This is a tough one but I can point you in the right direction. It would be useful to read the EAS faults. Fautls can be logged without actually triggering a full blown EAS fault. You can find out more about the EAS serial cable and the Free EASunlock software that I wrote at.
Range Rover EAS Reset Tools

Typically when the car goes to the extended profile and locks out the user, this is a soft fault. A soft fault can be caused by a faulty or weak EAS height sensor. I would put money on a bad height sensor. The EASunlock software will help track down which sensor is acting up.

thanks for the reply
I have downloaded your software and will be making a cable shortly so will let you know what i find.
A donation will be forthcoming.
