Morning All,

Quick Update, have read all the comments and you guys have a great sense of humour (Goes with Land Rover ownership I’m sure)

So have ordered a new Yuasa battery, with 5 year guarantee, so by my reckoning should never have to buy a new one again, as they only last a couple of years, so will keep getting it changed under warranty lol. However I’m sure they will get wise to that eventually. £100 with the use of my trade card, which I don’t think is bad for a branded battery with the guarantee.

We will see if it helps, the old unit was only showing 12.1v which is poor on a summers day, so I presume it was toast.

Time will tell I’m sure

Oh I did forget, the passenger door is also now broken as well. Will not unlock, and won’t open.

Good job I’m single, and never take passengers.

I’m taking the view of one job at a time, so it’s on the list to do, after the Bongs !!!!

Well the old battery was a Tungstone unit, never heard of them to be fair. 800a 90ah, the new one is 900a 100ah, so in theory should have more cranking amps.

It now starts super fast, which is a improvement, but all the bings and bongs still remain.

how do you reset all the codes, with no reader?

just so I’m starting with a clean sheet

Some problems will dissappear when you resolve them, hard faults may need resetting with diagnostics. Also depends on which system

1000cca 120ah MF31 is the gigantic one. Is pretty much the limit. Should spin up like it wants to take off
