Saint V8,

With regards your last post on my thread about Alternator Diode Pack, and a similar post from another who left his L322 for a week and drained the battery also I wonder if you have any thoughts on this.
Since I bought the car I have the battery light flickering when she is on tick over, not fully on just a flicker, which goes off when you add revs.
Do you think that this may have something to do with my battery drain,

Thanks
Unless the idle speed is lower than it should be, the battery light should not flicker. Either there is a bad connection, or the alternator is failing.

On dynamo equipped cars charge lamp flicker was used as a guide to setting tickover speed. But that does not apply to alternator equipped vehicles. With engine running and tickover set correctly charge lamp should be out at all times.
