Can anyone help ? I've got an annoying knock coming from what I thought was the back end of my disco 2 I've replaced the rear drop links and anti roll bar bushes but it's still there ?
Any ideas anyone please ?
Could be the Watts Linkage. Get under the back of it, have a look for kind of figure 8 linkage above the centre of the rear axle. Get someone to bounce on the tow bar or something. If its that you will see the bushes are knackered.
You can check the Watts linkage by grabbing hold of the roof gutter and rocking the car from site to side, if it's the Watts linkage you'll hear it clunking. This link may help
