Andy may or may not be a decent mechanic but only an idiot would have the bare faced cheek to use a forum link as their website to advertise without asking permission.....let alone an LZ thread.

Spamming forums with dubious recommendations in an attempt to get free advertising makes a business look cheap and untrustworthy.

Cheers for flagging this up!

Nice to know that there is a recommended place to take the beast when I need to - it's only about 5 miles from me.

Perhaps you've got a bit of old spam stuck in your beard from breakfast...

Why so cynical? My original post was 100% genuine - thought it would be a help to forum members - surely one of the purposes of Landyzone?

Hi Dennis. I too have a D3 needing a cam belt change and service, do you mind if I Ask how much it was at Andys? Very local to me so convenient

hi and welcome to the asylum

hope u don't mind me saying but will they be changing the rear belt as well for u,

not being rude but are u aware about the oil pump covers failing

Hi All,
I've also had a couple of jobs done at Andys Landys.... A dead electric window and a severed fuel pipe.

I found Andy and his staff to be knowledgeable and interesting to chat to. The prices are an absolute bargain also. They were recommended to me by a fellow dog walker up the park, so I thought I'd give them a try. Have not regretted it.

Adie

Always the best place to get a recommendation for a landrover workshop.:D

Did the dog walker like eating chopped meat too? Or perhaps feeding it to their dogs?

I find luncheon meat is an effective and economical bait for fishing! ;):)

Andy's Landys sounds so amazing that the next time I need something doing, rather than DIY it, I'll drive it (or trailer it) down to Coventry where Andy's Landys is, so that Andy can sort my Landy. Andy's Landys sounds great.

I am sure it is fantastic, but not convinced anything would be worth going to Coventry for!
