...how (easy is it) to change an oil prtessure switch?

Is it just unscrew, screw on new?

Or is it infinitely more complicated than that?

unscrew the old one (wiv a spanner) but have the new one ready to whip back in, because oil will leak out. if yer quick, it won't be more than a spoonfull.

ave yer got yer propshaft sorted?

Doesn't much matter about leaking oil coz I thought changing it would stop it.

Apparently not. It still pees out at a rate of knots. The leak is definitely from around the switch, but only occurs when engine running and oil under pressure...
Do we think a rubber washer behind the provided metal one might stop this?

As for propshaft, I'll find out by the weekend...

Bit O' PTFE tape might help, not sure if it's strictly correct but I've done it in the past.
I'm sure somebody will tell me I'm wrong for some reason.

PTFE will help but if it is ****ed then an helicoil will probably help more.

dunt think so i did mine yesterday, had some white sealer on the thread and screwed in till it butted up to the shoulder.

and yes i did get my shoulder covered in oil :D

In simple terms for an idiot and with links/pictures?

I'm not especially experienced, only being 17 and this repair of the propshaft and oil leak being the first thing i've done...
