My friend's car was "stolen" (technically speaking) by a non driver and shortly after he ended up totaling the car. He was the only one in the car and came out with no injuries.

It looks like it flipped over and took a tree out on the way but what exactly happened is anyone's guess. The tire marks are quite wide indicating it was skidding and probably on the rims! Take a shot and give us a scenario of the accident.

He was trying to be a twunt .. I mean, trying to drive on two wheels .. and managed to be one, but didn't stay on the two wheels ...

But it's a straight road, what made him lose it?

I agree. It looks like he lost control and the car turned 180 degree slamming into the curb and probably flew right into the tree. It may have flipped or the tree took a lot of its momentum out and prevented it from flipping right around. It may have slid on the one side and then people afterwards (don't know as of yet) flipped it back on its wheels.

Paul D, I've been told that he doesn't drive! Also the four wheel stick was in neutral when I checked it out while the automatic stick was in D, Did the four wheel stick move from the impact or is it possible he tried to ram it in low gear? Not sure that he knew enough about the car even try to do that.

Well, obviously he lost control, but how? I agree he spun and rolled, but it's what he was doing to lose control, and I don't know of anyone who would just spin a car without doing something feckin' st00pid ... Are there any marks on the kerbs further back? He may just have took his eyes off and hit a kerb and panicked, but as I said, my bet is he was showing off and trying to do 'something' ...

ive seen those sort of trees before , the ones that jump out on yer when your not expecting it !!!

he was in the right hand lane. attempted a last minute left turn/lane change (probably) to avoid a slower vehicle in his lane. He lost the back end and rotated 160-170 degs where by he hit the kerb with the passenger side front wheel which was still turned to the left. That then swung the back end into the kerb whereby it leant over onto the tree which flipped the vehicle over onto its roof and due to the kinetic energy, rotated it back the opposite way while in the air. it then rolled back onto its wheels and came to rest where it is in the vid, facing the original way it was going and right side up.
