I don't know if mail.com lets you create distribution lists to forward emails out, but I can create one on my works email system to do it

No not at all but since everyone is going to either General or Anything Goes, you'll see the flashing 'Land Rover' badge next to LZIR,only takes a second just to glance at it while on the way to another part of the forum. Anyway, looks like a good idea has been found, just wanted to clarify what I meant.

If anyone ever needs rescuing from flood water just give me a shout as I now have a rescue boat that I'm towing around ...

I don't have an outboard engine and I don't even have any oars, but don't let that put you off using LZIR

Would it not be possible for whoever owns the landyzone.co.uk domain (Accy?) to set up LZIR@landyzone.co.uk and have it forward to the people that needed to know? If necessary set up a fake user on the site using that email, subscribe to the thread with email notification set and then all those on the forwarder list will get notified when someone posts on the thread.
