Hi, all I have a 94 l Reg 200tdi discovery which has been fine until this evening. Went for. A out was fine when tried to start to come home, it wouldn’t turn over and immobiliser light was flashing amr 2106 box clicking away! I didn’t even realise it had an immobiliser. I don’t have the 4 digit code to reset if that works on a 200?! Also has no fob which again didn’t realise they had until reading advise on the issue! Managed to get home with a temp bypass, any help would be great?

The security system on your model is set/unset via either the fob or the key in the drivers door lock and then operates a micro switch, so an iffy micro switch maybe, your owners hand book should give you more details, which I believe is was something like turning the key fully and and wait a second so the micro switch operates to set.. same again to unset.
Its a long while ago since there was a discussion on the disco 200 series security system :)

The system doesn't have the emergency access code, that was introduced with the 300 series system.

Ha ha yeah I was shock to have a security issue with a 200! It appears to be a dodgy connection on one of the fusible links in the engine compartment harness......

If so then theres kit available to replace the lot, or you can install the later disco engine bay fuse box which has replaceable links inside.
