Also you get some greenish corrosion around the pins on the fuseboard where the fuse plugs into ...this can cause problems ...

Have you checked with a multimeter or lightbulb on two wires if there is electrickery getting to one side of said fuse ?
Bought new fuse and replaced to be certain.... still nothing!

Still can’t see any light on amp

Is it worth getting secondhand and and replacing? Is this cheapest option?

Check output at fuse board .... you have got the ignition turned to the correct position haven't you ?

Hi

Plus 1 what the other guys have said , need to test that u have power at the amp

The red wire is the positive and black is the earth, so with a multimeter set to volts DC need to go across the red and black wire

Enclosed a wiring diagram as well and also took a snap shot of the connector u need to test on ur amp

Indeed U could get another amp to try but alas it might be something before the amp , unless of course u can find a breakers near u that will allow to plug the amp in to test it

Or maybe someone on the/ LZ D3 forum who is near u that could test it for u if ur unsure, don’t mean that patronising either

Are u near the croydon caterham

I’ve got old amplifier out and it’s a Harmon Kardon amplifier XQK500093

If I order a second hand one will it just be a case of is fitting this in.....the breakers sites say “not decoded before removal”..... will it need programming in to my car?
