Hi there & many thanks for your previous help & advice.

New challenge - is there a quick way for me to connect up a 60/60 ammeter on my 1979 S3 diesel swb without having to gain access to the rear of the instrument panel or ignition switch. I would like the meter to sit to the left of the main instrument cluster on a small bracket so everything
is tidy & together. Thanks. jph1386

Excellent answer. As that seems to be the reponse to about 75% of the posts in this forum it does beg the question, what is this forum for? Or should I :search: :googleit: for the answer to that question too?

did you skip maths at school ?

Good comeback. Course it's not that many but it's not far off. The bloke just asked a simple question cos this is supposed to be a land rover forum where you ask questions like that.

Excellent answer.

It's an appropriate, almost polite even, answer to a question that's been asked many times ... Or would you rather he had told you to feck off and search first?

I wasn't asking the original question.

land rover series ammeter - Google Searchthere ya go, my little coochycoos - all that needs to be done is to chose the most likely or appropriate links.

they may not all be suitable, but I am sure that one of the 1950 results will fulfill the requirements. :frusty: :frusty: :frusty:

of course he could look at this one - but then maybe it isnt suitable.

any other time you would like me to look up something, just let me know. I accept paypal. :flame2:

If you don't want to answer a question because it's been asked before, fair enough, don't answer it, move on.
But if you want to be helpful and save someone wading through 1950 possibilities, what's wrong with that? Isn't the point of a forum to pass information on and save people having to keep reinventing the wheel.

I notice those who've complained about the response, lack of it, whatever, also haven't helped with a direct answer ...
