I've actually seriously been thinking about that. Will have to get my cat sorted first tho. I'd use more petrol than i'd earn lol.

na mate not as daft as me :p i used my transit van when my car was of the road to do takeaway deliveries, made a small fortune doing it :)

Ive been considering this as of lately, Im setting myself up a mobile caravan & motorhome service engineer, and am torn between having the back end of my 5 door td4 blacked out, so no peeps can see in and fold the seats down or take them out even, when Ive got all me gear in, or go the other route which is to sell the td4 and buy a dare i say it??, ford transit connect:eek:

Ya cant Offroad in a Transit FFS!!!! What if you have to recover a 'van from a field? Keep the Freebie, you know it makes sense ;)

Why not buy a commercial freelander or a commercial discovery instead of a transit?

Im probarbly amswering me own question ere:doh:, if you look at a disco commercial or a hippo commercial, there aint really a fat lot of difference btween the commercial versions and the "normal" version apart from say the rear seats removed(i can do that with mine) and also a harder based floor( which i can also put in) oh yeah and a load cage behind the drivers & passenger seats, but thats about it really, where as a tranny connect is all ply lined and you can put a rack in of some sort etc., just a question of practicality really, or more a case of me being a puff and not wantin to wreck me freeby:doh:
