Brought a Landy to LZ11. Yay!!
My Disco must know its having a service tomorrow as its decided that the back door is not going to open without a fight - probably the spring thing as noted from tha sticky up top!! :pound:

Luckily I can get the bugger open with a bit of gentle persuasion from inside.

What I'm gutted about it the fact I have to drill out the rivets on me newly fitted door tray holder aka tha chequer plate!

Here's to hoping that the scrapper over me mates yard has an ok spring on the back door that'll keep me going during our trip to France next saturday!

Does the same spring do all the doors or are the buggers different - if they's all the same I might butcher the doors on the scrapper so I got some spares!!

Mine stuck the other week.sprayed a good load of wd40 i and bin fine ever since

You can get new springs on eBay pretty cheep. They aren't all the same. They are handed and front and rear are different. I can't remember which one the tailgate uses.

If it's the handle sticking so you can't pull it then as said wd40. Take off the LR badge with a screw driver and spray it through there whilst working the handle. If its the lock spring then thats a different matter..

Handle goes up and down as it should.

I'm betting it is the bloody spring just to boil me up in the week before we are off to France and with the weather being ****e anorl, I'll end up hanging over the back seats jiggling the bloody door handle and pin by the window to get the bugger open.
