Hi
Could someone please help me

Basicly i had not wiring for my alterntor so what i have done is the 2 main wires from the alternator go to the STARTER MOTOR in the hope that the power from being throw into the starter then goes back to the battery
I have tested this on a fast tick over and it is NOT charging the battery .

Is this because i should have run the alternator wires straight to the battery or is my set up ok but the alternator is dead ?

Please help
Many thanks chris

HI

Ok downloaded the manual and checked the way i have wired it , it is correct 2 main wires to the start which in turn feeds power back to the battery and one small wire to the charge light still doesnt work !!

Guessing i need a new alternator now question is is a standard 45 amp good enough or should i try and get say a 60 amp for a bit more power ??

All replies are gratfully recieved #
