It is possible to remove the three bolts that hold the alternator together and turn the housing to suit your mounts !! That's what we do !!! It is possible to fit a disco 100amp alternator as well!! Just remove the drive pulley and use your v belt pulley!!!

Well the alternator on the Antichrist has given up, so while looking for one I saw this, question is, will it fit?

RIGHT HAND LUCAS A127 3 PIN ALTERNATOR 100-056 | eBay

Any suggestions welcome,

Cheers, Peter.
yes the alternator will fit and work properly you don't really want to be fitting a 100amp alternator to a series, what are you going to be powering because that's I lot, a 65 amp is ample for a series landy and you cant interchange the pullys between the later disco 100amp and the earlier disco 65 amp as the pully shaft is bigger due to having a bigger commutator so stick with the 65 amp its the better all rounder for a series

Agree.. I got a 70 amp on mine and that's more than adequate for everything I need, including my split charge system
