I put a pair of old Rover216 seats in the front of my truck cab and the cubby box still fits between 'em. Had to do some minor weldage to the runners so they can be bolted down and still slide (and hence still provide access to the battery). The only other difference was that I had to swap over the drivers and passengers sides owing to the adjuster on the side of the seat - they pushed the seat too far into the middle of the truck if they were left the right way round. V Comfy though.

I'm afraid I don't know what Rover they are from. They certainly put you up high though. The fixing run across the car rather than front to back hence the extra complication with the battery access.
