Does anyone know how to tell what size seal to buy without taking the glass out first?
Fleabay are selling them but there is a choice of either 4mm or 5mm glass?

I'm afraid it's a gamble. Some glass comes as 4mm and some 5mm. Best way is to remove one.

Yeah not great, I ordered 5mm thinking i could take up the excess with silicone if mine are 4mm.

Good old Land Rover, why make it easy when you can randomly fit two alternative thicknesses of glass with no way to tell which one is fitted

They leak badly if they are the wrong thickness. I think mine are too big for the glass and the water runs down the roof pressing and pours into your lap when you brake and turn

lt took me ages to figure out where that water was coming from, years in fact

When installing the seals, it's better to have the join at the top than at the bottom, if it's at the bottom water pours in through the small gap....
