Hi all, this post was really helpful thank you even all these years later. I bought some very cheap (£40 for 4) and quite battered alloy wheels from a scrapper FL. Wasn't sure on the model and started to worry after stumbling across this thread. Luckily they were ET46s. The ones that came on my 05 TD4 were ET48s. No fitment issues at all.

Fitted today with some remanufactured Insa Rangers. Now have a full second set for Pay and Play days. First one this weekend, wish me luck!

Good luck Jimbo. Have fun ;)

As I recall, if the wheel has dimples between the wheel stud holes, you have a wheel that will fit - as a rule of thumb, this works pretty well (although, as with all rules of thumb, there are exceptions!)
