Hi,
I am toying with the idea of getting the alloys on my Freelander 'S' painted professionally......

My Freelander is Black with full black leather interior.........so i was thinking of getting them done Black but worried it might look 'overkill'......so would relish your opinions or if anyone has already done this to this style of alloy post some pics!!!

Cheers....

Stick a picture up of the car and someone might photoshop it .. ;)

Today received, black super gloss , a different shape but you can see final effect.

Actually i think that looks good........might try & buy a spare set of alloys & get them painted...that way if i dont like them i could sell them BUT if i am going down that route (buying a set/painting them) i'd prob be cheaper buying Black Alloys in a different style....

Kinda depends on costs.....(dont tell my wife tho)...
Wonder if she'd notice

Imho when i saw the finished product (with smoked headlamps, black side repeaters etc) i though whooooa thats dark! :D

All totally legal......'fly eye' tint on headlamps/spots/in fact all the lenses...even the glass sunroof has it....

Have had lots of people comment on how good it looks.....could have sold it if i wanted but no...

Just trying to get a quote on painting the wheels now.....will probably faint i guess:bolt:

Yes it does look very nice, I've seen that fly-eye but was scared that they might crease when I do them

Re wheels I would go for powder coating as it is much more duable

I've been thinking of getting mine done for a while, they really need a refurb.

I have an epson green hippo with the 5 spoke alloys, was thinking of going satin black.
