I previously posted about problems with my EAS and BeCM on my 2000 HDSE. All problems were resolved. Although I do admit to having had to replace the BeCM due to my own clumsyness. I have been driving about without problems for the last few months. This morning the car is locked out. Key fob doesn't unlock the car. EAK code doesn't work so every time I twist the ignition I get a 30 second horn burst with flashing indicators. All the fuses are ok. Any ideas.

You have problems the car thinks you are nicking it. Diag needed.

Battery good? Not draining from RF interference?

Can you test by going underneath to the alternator positive terminal and maybe a decent earth point? Would it be OK to get a charger on it this way? Maybe put a battery in parallel if need be to get the locks open?

Battery is a little bit weak especially in the cold. It was my initial thought, so I put the battery on charge. I will have a go and see what happens. Cheers
