Hi Guys,
just got my 200 tdi ready for it's mot.
Final check of lights and lo and behold....nowt!
Ignition lights come on and she starts ok.
Indicators work, headlight flashes, horn works - all from the stalk - but there are no sidelights, rear lights, dip or main beam.
All the fuses are ok - didn't think I'd have blown six fuses anyway.
All these were working fine when I disconnected the battery to have a plate welded in the floor. No damage from that - melting etc.
Scratching my head now - any ideas?

not left wire off when you put bat back have you?also any feed to relivant fuses good start

check theres a feed to switch and then out ,switch been faulty would be good guess

All wires reconnected. Will check switch tomorrow. Ta. pete

Ok. got the shroud off the steering column and lo and behold, a detached live wire. The welding was a red herring. Who knows how long I've not had lights for. It's summer after all. So its off to the mot tomorrow. lets see what the disco throws up this time. Thanks, peter
