The nearest travel lodge is in Lutterworth and Stanford Hall is the one in the grounds itself

been reading through this and am going to try my best to come

going to try and sort out a tent as I won't be able to afford a hotel etc

is just me and the 2 x dogs

will be very hard considering this will be the first time I've been on my own but have to start somewhere

am starting to put money away and am going to try my very best to make it

The more the merrier, friendly family type gathering so nothing to worry about coming alone.

thks so much, most appreciated

going to be my first steps back into the world as a widower and will be a very nerve racking experiance , but have my dogs which should be a good ice breaker, lol

Sorry to hear about loosing your loved one, last event was very good, everyone mingled and chatted away to each other about various topics, plenty to do, see and best of all should it get too much you can sneak away and have your own space. You really will not regret coming along.
