What's happening to the forum?I was shocked to see one of my posts from2014 has been reincarnated.. As it happens they are back in Aldi for the same price.;)

It's all my fault
The forum search didn't work for a week or so, then it did, and I was so excited to see your post that I couldn't resist digging it up, dusting it off and adding to it.
While you are here, have you used it to charge the battery in an L322 (sorry can't remember what vehicle you have) without it blowing up any of the vehicle electronics? (The charger instructions say to remove the battery from the car before charging).

I have two p38's and used one for years while I was out of the country , never used it on a 322 but in trickle mode at 0.8A charge current I cannot see a problem, but I know F all about the dark art of E lectrickery.

As long as you connect to the battery before plugging into the mains and unplug before disconnecting you should have no problem.
