Irishrover Well-Known Member Aug 1, 2009 #3 Probably have the alarm function disabled in the becm...that will throw up "Alarm Fault" for a split second sometimes when switching the ignition on.

Irishrover Well-Known Member Aug 1, 2009 #5 Could be a dodgy connection at the harness to the door outstation which is a "Handshake" to the BECM (Body Electric Control Module) . The BECM is the main ECU on the car and is interfaced with every other ecu.
