hi will a r/r classic 3.9v8 airflow meter fit a 3.5v8 will it run ok or is there any alterations i need to do.basically are they compatable for both engines

3am and 5am hotwire type are interchangeable. Earlier 3.5 is an air flap type. So as long as it is hotwire 14cux ecu, yes

hi my ecu is alloy one would that be a 14 cux its under the driverseat.

They are all alloy. There will be a label on it. 4cu or flapper injection has a few other differences but hard to describe. Different tps cold start etc.
