There was nothing to sort. He wanted to turn off the frost warning on the HEVAC.
I find it better to get an 12mm long reach drill and just drill straight through the dash pod and take the symbol out that way
Make sure you use a dormer drill though lol

I find C1150 series make a much neater hole than standard twist drills. Especially in the plastic. Maybe worth a thought.
how come you never said this from the start.......simples
ah,now i understand  so there is or was a fault.no such "problem" here in sunny fermanaghCracking!!! On the upside, if only all 'faults' were as easy to solve!!!
shirly using a 8" core drill would take out the entire dash panel, therefore preventing any such dash related issues from happening in the future ?
Quite simply because it wouldnt have made me smirk, and this thread would not have reached 7 pages and rising - I take it you have read all the pages and are now understanding the sense of humour required for attending the forum and owning a P38.:welcome2:
When I bought my P38, I thought that I was buying a car......It turns out that I was buying a lifestyle.....( constantly on this site searching for fixes (between the **** takes), for all the 'Challenges' that the car presents each day......) Keeps life interesting.....God i love this site...:hysterically_laughi
