Ecu changed ...car still drives lopsided. The breakers mentioned that the ride height relay can cause issues so going to change that next. Does anyone have a part number ?
Ride height relay? WTF is that?? The only relay is the delay timer relay which switches power to the ECU. You can try sticking a standard relay in as a test.

Now I think about it, MrGorsky's rear right looks like it leans a bit too! Might be the same issue.

What do you mean by standard relay...isnt the one fitted standard. I would rather put a proper one in. The breaker did not have any in stock. Guess thats my last attempt then ....before I order some springs

The tall relay under the nearside front seat incorporates a timer that 'wakes' the system up periodically, when the ignition is off, and allows the system to self-level down to the lowest height sensor.
This is why, if you have a leak on one corner, you find the entire car has lowered itself over time.

Crikey that relay is £100 from island 4x4. I have no leaks. The car rides on the lean.Right hand side higher than left hand side. When put in software it levels ok to all settings. When driven it leans. The steering wheel pulls left the transmission and gearchanges get noisy and the car rides and feels unstable. So far have replaced airbags, front sensors ,valve block ,solonoids, valve black box and ecu. Nothing cured the issue. Sometimes the car drives without fault although going into reverse or parking up and setting off from a restart will make it lean again. The car very rarely drives flat...maybe one time in 20. Sometimes it leans more than others. The lean is there in all modes...going above 50 and back drops the suspension and raises as it should but it still leans.
There are no leaks . Leaving a door open overnight the car doesnt drop. But it still leans.Car has been levelled and remeasured and set up multiple times using spacer blocks. It sits level on the blocks but the settings dont translate to a level road ride,

Any standard relay with the same pin configuration will do the job temporarily.
Instead of setting it up with blocks, I would use the measuring system. If the set up is out of range it will go to default settings.
Whatever is wrong, I suspect it's something simple that has been overlooked.

I would stick at it too. You are not far from having a complete working system, i know its a nuisance at the moment but once it is working you will be glad you kept it :)

Whichever side is correct, add or subtract 1 at a time to the other side setting and try again. It can be very fiddly. I've seen this on someone else's car and it was just trial and error to get it sat where it should be. Why did it do it? No idea.

You say you are using blocks to set the suspension, does that mean you have made a set of 4 for each height?

I have ordered a 2nd hand relay off ebay. When I went to pull my relay out the top came off it. Maybe its been apart in the past. I have not looked at the car since replacing the ecu Friday.

Often does when you've pulled it on and off a few times. Mine did too. Trying to find that little lip it clips on can be a bugger too. :)

I've had mine out more times than I'd care to mention (relay, that is). The cap has guides where the PCB fits so it'll only go in one way.

Thanks for clearing that up. For one moment I thought you were talking about your wallet.

Well today my replacement relay arrived...swapped it over and....still the same. The only thing I have not checked is rear height sensors so I figured I would swap them over....

I am ashamed and embarrassed to say I think I found the fault ..the rear sensor is snapped off it bolts.

I am ashamed and embarrassed to say I think I found the fault ..the rear sensor is snapped off it bolts.Anyhow I have cut the bolts off the brackets but am struggling to get the sensor arm out of its rubber housing without breaking the rubber. Any tips please.
Boy am I feeling happy.

Always the last place you look - why bother continuing to look after you've found it?! Someone said further up it would be simple.

Got a horrible feeling that rubber may not come off. Got a feeling someone asked the question recently. Might be wrong. Datatek will know.

I have got it out ok now. Bit of grease helped. I assumed the front left was dropping when all along the rear right was rising. I have not got another rear sensor here atm . Even tho both sides of the bracket were broken it was still wedged into position. I guess I have gone around the mulberry bush a little looking for this fault but I have learned loads and found 2 other faults with the suspension whilst looking..namely broken wire left hand footwell and the pump master plug .

So, you were never really looking at the heights live readings as I suggested because if you were, you would have seen that the reading did not change.

It was still held in its position so was moving and giving consistent live readings. I think once under load it was deflecting a little and misreading.
