If you have a local hose and fittings type place that make up various hoses and what not I'd say they would likely be able to recrimp it.
 
It would save a lot of messing about sending it back for a replacement cheers data

I'd send it back, there have been a few reports of the crimps failing. I don't know the cause but it may be that the surface the bag crimps to is faulty.
 
That’s the other option data but it will take time and I’ve still got to wait for a response from the company I’ve they contact me tomorrow that’s what I will do

Yes, definitely issues with the Arnott 2 bags made in the EU. The stuff Stateside seems to be OK.

The guy dealing with the issue in the EU was called something like Tom de Winter.
