The suspension on my 1995 car goes down as soon as I lock the car with the handset.
Press the button and the car goes down.....
The bags been replaced recently.
Any ideas?

Don't lock the car.
This isn't meant as a typical LZ helpful comment, I'm serious.
Is it the locking that's triggering the suspension - in which case you're going to need more help than I can give
or, is it that the suspension is frozen until you close the door and it's just that when you close the door you automatically lock the car.

The car will level itself when the vehicle is locked.

How much is it going down?

Seems to be the rear of the car going down more....
Have to have a look, to see if it could be the case of self-leveling.
Unfortunately need to lock the car, as I have no garage...

When you lock the car the EAS delay relay stays awake for 20 seconds to self level. In other words if car is set on standard height and you have had four heavy passengers, more pressure will have been introduced to maintain that setting. When car is locked air is expelled to self level back to standard height.

Sorry mate, from your first post I thought you meant that when you locked the car the suspension dropped as if you'd presed the dash switch for access. My suggestion that you didn't lock the car was to see if it dropped without the lock being activated.

If it's taking it's time dropping then you've probably got a leak but the car, if working correctly, will try to level itself. Obviously without a pump running the only way it can do this is by dropping down.

Get it running, raise it to maximum height and get going with the soapy water. Obviously start with the bag connections because they're what have been disturbed by fitting the new bags. Don't delay because if it is a leak you're asking the compressor to work harder than necessary to overcome it.
