Hi guys just thought out of courtesy I would post an update, I intend to do a full post on it when I am sat down and free from fixing it....may never happen then lol !
L322 2002 TD6 suspension inactive.
Anyway you will see from my other posts I had a message pop up every time i exceeded the magic 25 mph and all pointers were ABS pump which it was not !
After a lonf and very helpfull telephone converstation with Stustrong and him guiding me on INPA he suggested I raise the car by 10 all round which I did, I then took for a blast and hit 40mph no errors ! it was at 10om dark and I were taking her out the next day (friday) and were going to test fully then, anyway saturday morning I started up all excited like a small child with a new toy and I even had the L322 excited as bubble started toappear from under the bonnet ! as I lifted it to find the gearbox water cooler pipe had been severed by the viscous my excitment dropped some (pipe had been routed incorrectly across front of fan) and as I reang Guy Salmon i were getting sadder but then they said they could get next day £36 so saturday 9.30 I collect race home and start, well I have severed nerves in jy spine suffer seberly with my back which did'nt really help but after an hour I managed !!! yes did it, filled her up warmed up and held off until Sunday.
10am start up and we drove 10 miles, 70 mph and no errors, dropped into motorway mode and raised up again what excitetment !
In total we drove 100 miles sunday and she did everything as she should have.

Looking around the car she is showing signs of having been layed up, damp in the right places (cant find any leaks) on mating surfaces etc as I go further into her I find bits and peices that suggest she may have been sat for a few months.

Re wired a stereo in to her previous owner cocked that up ! used original wires to and from boot to doors and head unit.

She did blow fuse 15 the other day central locking but may have been phone in lighter socket or the main feed for stereo I used for power but has not for last 70 miles so keeping eye on this, had no drivers window or central locking so changed fuse in glove box and done.

I just wanted to keep you all posted and let you know the progress.

Thanks to all that have helped especialy Stustrong.

Looks like you're getting somewhere :D
Yes mate ! now I need to do both lower upper ball joints a spot of welding find out what wheel bearing is humbing a song I am not over keen on and find a diagram like luxurylandroverupgrades battery kit and fit an old one in the boot ! even wiring the stereo in yesterday door open closed she went flat voltage is good but powerline battery on it (great!) so next battery and kit but cant find a wiring diagram same as above anywhere ? I know its a 100 amp relay.

@backinblack put a second battery on his, don't know if he did a write up.

That solor controller in boot is marketed as a MPPT its not ! they die real quick mate, done quite a bit of solor on the motorhome.
I want a system that charges and then uses 2nd battery as a starter as well to save 1st battery.

It's been ok for the last 18 months, and for the price I can't complain.
The cable to the rear fuse box is only 40amp so IMO not big enough to jump start, and I couldn't be arsed putting a bigger cable in. I carry a set of long jump leads if I need to jump from second battery.

I have not had any trouble with that type of controller. I also have 6 of a cheaper type that have been in use for years

Some last mate but rthey do not give the maximum charge rate you could get from your panel, in the old mortorhome I have 2 panels to one that runs the main inside lights/TV etc and one panel that runs the night heater with that same controller on it.

Mines a 20amp with a 20amp fuse just incase

Got a 10amp controller on a 25watt solar panel and a small battery for some led garden lights.
Got another 10amp on 2 x 25watt panels keeping the wifes car topped up.

Mine are 10 amp controllers with 20 watt panels, sufficient to keep P38's topped up:D

I have a E38 which i can leave for weeks and is fine but an E53 same as RR's must be modules's
With the P38 it's the constant 30ma drain from the BECM. With a good battery I can leave mine for 3 weeks or so but then it needs a charger to bring the battery back up. Better for the battery to keep it topped up.

Hi mate I ment BMW E38.use to have 2 P38's as well, 1 was 1995 4.0 gems she would go 2 weeks easy 4.6 thor 2001 was like 4 days and flat and always a good battery, E38 is 740i M62 1997 and have know 2 months 50% battery and she fires up, seems the germans did not get much better ! mind my X5 E53 4.4 M62tu 1 week maybe how it feels genuine BMW AGM and she had E53 3.0i and that would go 3 weeks with an excide on it, strange as same modules

C-tek system with or without the solar option you can run 2nd battery off the alternator aswell and put it on solar
