i have a 2001 td5 disco she has lowered herself and will not come back up i have changed both air springs 6 month ago so its not them fuses and relays r fine.and today i stuck on the diagnostic and it came back with (compresser duty cycle exceeded unit )fault code 167.can anyone help me.

Sounds like the compressor has died,usually full of water - take it off and take it to bits.

thank you i took the cover off and everything seems drie as a bone but no noise coming from compresser when engine is started.what happened was i thought the car looked abit low so i decided to jack the car up at the tow bar and press the rise height button to see if that wud make a difference stupid i know,upon lowering the vechicle i cud not get the jack out and now she wont come up at all

No, I meant take the compressor off the car and strip it down.

compresser striped and the spring for bushes had broken off.new springs , compresser back together and up she went thanks
