There are full stand alone aftermarket kits so I would say that deleting the EAS out of your electrickery boxes and then run a stand alone ECU with ride height controller would be perfectly possible with the aftermarket potentiometers.
 
I agree that it's perfectly possible... just that it's too complicated :cool: ... to not speak about the price of those kits though
 
People often look at me funny when I say I’m on air still on my green lane trips. Feel like I’m missing something, seems not to have any negative effects.

The idea of full air is something I’ve thought about too, won’t ever even look into it let alone do it but it’s a nice idea!

No idea, just seems everyone else I come across with a D2 has removed it because they use it off road. For what it’s worth I’m a big fan of it, raising the back into ‘off road’ height had been handy numerous times.
 
I find with ACE as well I get good axle articulation, able to shove diagonal wheels into the arches, and since the back rides well and self levels, thought it would be nice on the front.
