I have finally after many years acquired a soft dash 3.9 SE with the dreaded air suspension.. and unsurprisingly it's not behaving as intended.. or I don't think it is, it could be operator error!

When starting the air suspension dash light comes on, flashes a few times then stays on, the 'raise' button LED mimics the dash light behavior precisely. The car sits fairly high. When you get out and shut the door it drops down, hisses and clicks a bit and settles down to a more normal height. The button to lower the suspension does absolutely nothing. I am wondering if this is little more than the button to lower the suspension has failed, would the system reset to normal height on restart or return to the last height set?

The other question is as I have found the software to interrogate the EAS ECU and the diagram for the lead when can I get the end that plugs into the EAS connector or would it be easier to chop the connector off and fit a more readily available type, I have found a classic EAS lead but the price is insane for what would cost less than a tenner in parts

Don't know about the classic but Datatek does a lead for the P38 at a rock-bottom price. Could be worth a PM (conversation now?) to him.
