Hi All,

I have read a few threads regarding the EAS inactive message. I plan to have a look at mine tomorrow as the message appeared on my 2003 L322 yesterday. It's in normal mode now but I tried to put it into off road and the inactive message appeared and the light in the EAS switch came on then froze. The suspension will not move manually or automatically to motorway mode but does adjust when on uneven ground e.g. I parked the car on a kerb, when I re-started the suspension adjusted. I would assume the compressor is OK if the the suspension adjusts in this way. Is there anything I can check before checking the pressure release valve and compressor. Does battery dis-connection for 10 mins wipe the faults on the L322. I have done this to lost of cars in the past (VW, Mercs, Audi's) and it worked but unsure with the Range Rover as there is so much reliant on the battery.

Tried lock to lock but doesn't do anything. I will take it to an indie next week as I have now read that disconnecting the battery isn't a good idea. I've had no replies so it must be a hard one!
Thanx PDA
